What is the difference between hacking and modding?
Hacking Definition and Game Modding and then the worst of them all, Downloaders, only know how to download, encrypt, rebuild or w/e and play.
Example, hacking can technically get you sent to prison, modding can't.
Hacking is attempt to exploit something, whether it be hardware or software, modding means to add to the program in some way not seen by the creator.
So before you go sounding like a retard, learn the difference between the two, example, kid jumps into Diablo 3 with some other randoms and claims he is a hacker and he hacked Diablo 3, this could get him arrested, which is fine by me, that would teach his dumbass. SO anyways he goes on to tell us how he downloaded a save file from a site with items on it, this kid is neither a hacker nor a modder, but yet a downloader, these are the worst people, they will claim to know it all and won't know shit and possibly mess up your game by giving you old out of date stuff that was malicious, another example, there used to be a code in the D3 editor, when paired with the ability to make the item unidentified, would corrupt your entire save file once the item had been identified, it may still exist on an old save file out there.
What makes a downloader so bad? they will talk and talk and talk to get attention, they will try to make people dumber than themselves think they are super cool by bragging about stuff they don't know about and when confronted will most likely start to cry, its happened.

Can (Pet or wing name) be traded ?
Most of the wings are auto consumed once logging into the character that has them, for this reason only a few wings can be traded via the mailbox.
For pets, most are tradable with exception to a few, since most are auto consumed as well, but some that have the "learnable" tag on them, are capable of being traded.

When I try to login to the PS3 with the save file, it says my data is corrupted, why?
If its just 1 character, then no problem, if its the entire profile, then its something to do with the stash or paragon most likely.
Ps3 only supports items from before patch 1.09, only supports 10,000 paragon. Restore from a working backup you know works and try again.

This is mostly caused by people placing items that the game wasn't intended on having in it and will corrupt the character or profile completely. Restore from a working backup you know works and try again.


When I export my save from Ps3 / 360 to the Xbone / PS4, my stash resets to 20, why?
No clue, only 1 stash can be made max though and its random, if you exported the same exact save file 3 times, 2 times you may get max on normal stash and 20 on HC and the third time u may get max on HC and 20 on normal, its all super random, so don't put more than 20 items in the stash.

I'm using a modded console with no online, how can i mod Diablo 3?
Use a non modded console with online connection is the best way.


Does this work on PC ?
No, there are no save files on PC to edit, all game saves on PC are saved server side.

When I try to open the save file, i get this error "Error:Invalid wire-type:7 parameter name: wireType"
When using bruteforce, down in the bottom right side of the program is a toggle-able button, "Decrypt 2nd layer", make sure this is disabled.
Also make sure the save file you are trying to edit is not on the C: drive, because C drive has a tendancy to not allow certain programs to work right.
