It won't matter what version your using, is the game for the PS3 or 360? if for the PS3, then you need to decrypt it first with bruteforce or ps3 decrypter tool and for the 360 use horizon, check out the guides section it has everything ya need there and links to all programs needed. | Which console is the save file your trying to load ? PS3 or 360 ?
I am assuming PS3 since you said you used bruteforce and i am guessing you are using Diablo 3 vanilla since you are using the vanilla editor correct? | |

| Now I know that the d3 editor will not work on ROS save files, but the ROS editor will work on the vanilla save files. Run the save editor as administrator and if it still won't open the file, try the D3 ROS save editor on it.
You can also send me the file as well if want, i can see if i get it to work, but 99% of the errors is that the file isn't decrypted. Also, I do know for a fact, if you try to open a file when it isn't decrypted, it can corrupt the file, you can encrypt the file and then click on REBUILD ALL and then DECRYPT it again, this may fix it.
